We are seeking a dynamic, self-directed and experienced Service Manager to join the Brightwater management team. This challenging position will be based at our residential facility in Mandurah, which offers quality, high care services to 131 residents to enable the wellbeing of our residents supported by an experienced multidisciplinary clinical team that ensures excellent care is delivered.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, Residential the key responsibilities for this role are:

  • overall leadership and management of service delivery in relation to the management of customers and their expectations;
  • facility financial sustainability and systems and processes management;
  • responsibility for aspects related to site employees; and
  • risk management/compliance and facility management.

This is a permanent, full time position working Monday to Friday, with out of hours and on-call responsibilities.


To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate experience and success in service delivery with a strong customer focus.  It is essential that you possess strong leadership and management skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within the team; have registration with AHPRA or Australian recognised body and/or a recognised business degree and/or substantial experience in a relevant industry.


The successful applicant must demonstrate a solid understanding of the changes facing the industry in terms of a consumer directed way of working and show strong evidence of their ability to drive change to a consumer directed service model.


Experience within the healthcare sector or relevant background which may include hotel management is highly advantageous.


All applicants must possess a National Police Certificate that is less than a year old (or be willing to apply for one) and a current Australian Driver’s Licence.
